I'm a weal artist...

I bought a Disney animation desk off Ebay and it finally arrived. Manhandling a 200-300 lbs desk around tight corners and narrow doors is a lot of fun...I highly recommend trying it sometime.

This one came from the Florida studios and was one that got donated to a local college. The college didn't need it anymore and it went to anyone who was willing to take it. Someone from the college took it home with plans to modify it into a regular desk. Fortunately (for me), unfortunately (for her) she was moving and couldn't take it with her. So, it went on ebay....

I guess there were several variations on these desks, if anyone can help me identify the type of desk this is, I'd really appreciate it.

I'm working on a series of kids playing instruments done with guache. I thought I'd try working out color comps in photoshop before I began painting. Hopefully, I'll be posting the finished piece soon.

The 'roughing' around the edges won't be part of the final, I just thought it looked cool.

Strongman

Inspired by this fella's great illustration of a strongman Jared Chapman - Strongest Man, I wanted to do my own version. Plus, it gave me an excuse to dust off my tubes of guache. Tats were applied digitally.
